Adhesive for Remote Start Antenna

The remote start antenna that’s attached to my windshield keeps falling off. What are some recommended adhesives / products I can use to securely reattach?

Get this 3M trim molding mounting tape at your local WalMart store. It is rated for outdoor exposure, so it won't fail for your application. Be sure to clean the antenna base with isopropyl alcohol before applying the tape.

Clean all residue with alcohol, let dry
Hold together for ~1 minute when assembling

What he said will do the trick nicely. Also super handy to have on hand for various needs around the house. Just don't expect it to come back off like a Command Strip would.

I tried some high temperature butyl tape from Amazon. I recommend not going that route, it melted and made mess at only like 85 degrees.

If you want 'permanent' attachment then LePage 50lb (clear) tape is good.
I used the tape on plastic gun magazine pouches to attach neodymium magnets on outside for when I need to quickly grab and retain mags on a run; not only magnets stayed put for years able to hold full mags while running but stripping mags from magnets puts stress on tape, never separated.
