Adding an Hours Counter

I have another piece of equipment (another generator) which I need to add an hours meter. I have a log book and it has 23 hours on it.

Incrementing a new hours counter to 23 hours sucks. Does anyone have an easier way?

I am currently just attaching it to a blower and running an engine.

Wire the gauge to a 12v battery and come back to unplug it in 23 hrs, then install on your gen.

Like mentioned just hook it up to 12v power source and remove it after 23 hours.

Look for a used on on ebay with around 23hrs on it.

This reminds me I got for Christmas a hour meter for my new Honda mower need to install that I'm to chicken **** to use still using the Honda powered craftsman
