Action Movie Recommendations

The Reacher-Paulie fight, Reacher Season Finale is hilariously action packed. Not a show for impressionable youth though. I see the whole thing as sick humor. Murder is wrong.
After Reacher dispatchs Paulie to the sea, and he's walkng down the road to the house, Paulie appears behind him, and the way the two are walking - their gait - reminded me of a Warner Brothers' cartoon.

Great books, fair movie.
Books? Am I missing something. In Point of Impact there were things about ballistics that did not make sense. But then the scene with the old man in the movie was only there to explain things to the audience. Well, and plus to get in the line about the men on the Grassy Knoll. I thought the movie was better than the book, which is rare.

Interesting. I went to see Collateral when it came out, and rarely has a movie underwhelmed me more (Star Wars with Jar Jar Binks not counting). Maybe I should give it another shot.
I'm not a huge Tom Cruise fan but I think Jamie Foxx was fantastic is this movie. I thought the soundtrack and visuals were great. Plus the story isn't something you see very often. But my opinion means squat...

It's not only your opinion, everybody seems to love it. Could be I was in the wrong mood when I watched it.

The first time I viewed the film, I coldn't get past the frst 20-30 minutes or so. I gave it another look some time later and liked it ... watched it all the way through. Then, what must have been some years later, I watched it again, having forgotten that I'd seen it before. I really liked it on several levels. Foxx was very good, but seeing Cruise play a bad guy made the whole thing work for me. He was a very good bad guy.

Ah.
Forgot.

Equilibrium
Reign of fire.

Two Christian Bale gems from the same era that bombed for unknown reasons (well, mostly because something bigger got released at the same time each time)

There are a couple things that I didn't like in the movie.
1. I could not snap out of seeing Tom Cruise with gray hair. It distracted me. Just about every one of his scenes: me "Tom Cruise has gray hair!" lol.
2. The whole shooting scene in the club: should have been shorter and would have accomplished the the purpose. It seemed like the editors threw in extra footage of people running around to make it seem chaotic, but it was too much.
Other than those points, I really enjoyed the movie. It's in my collection...along with all the others in my list in a previous post.
