It is called "go f yourself quote", they don't want to or don't know how to deal with PHEVs or EVs and just want you to go elsewhere or buy a new car from them. It's still a big go 'F yourself' from me at even $7500. The technology is not new. It's old tech utilized in a different manner.
Right, it is still 50% worth of my car. If the situation on the current car market gets worse it may make sense to replace it, otherwise not really. By the time it dies, (hopefully not soon) rest of the car will be tired, with suspension components, brakes, body, and interior. We shall see.
You can’t go to dealer for something like that.
Curious what year and engine?
I have a 2014 5.3 with original plugs at 80k. Pulled one and they’re nowhere near that worn.
2018 6.0l gas. Prior owner lived on a dirt/gravel road and towed A LOT.
