ACDelco dexos base stock

I just read that the ACDelco synthetic blend 5W30 comes from synthetic base stocks, this is according to their website. Is there any way to find out which you group base stocks they are referring to. I'm wondering if the oil is a group 2, group 3 or group 4

Find out who is blending the oil for AC Delco. AC Delco doesn't blend a drop of it. It is outsourced.

It's Mobil, probably a blend of Group II/III+ with possibly a dash of PAO or AN (Group IV or V)...

What meaningful information do you think that you'll get from knowing this?

Hint - none.

Protip - the whole "fake synthetic" thing is essentially a wife's tale and irrelevant for most any automotive application, and most others for that matter...

Would depend on the engine, but I've seen a few members here that had the 1.4 turbo beating it up pretty bad at 5.5k...

Please define "beating it up" and what "bad" means. Objective information, please.
