Lucky that Honda has extended warranty to ten years unlimited miles on the Denso condenser.
Between evacuating and vacuuming the system, R&Ring the condenser and then charging the system, I don't want to think of what this would have cost. I did have this done once before. You can be sure that if we still have the car in the summer of 2028 it will be going in if the AC is anything less than ice cold. Delivery taken 9/28/18.
I also got the low pressure fuel pump recall done.
Our Forester has had a similar extended warranty replacement of its original Denso condenser.

What is the reason it die so early? Mine lasted more than 29 years in one car and 24 years in another till I sold the cars.
Denso apparently produced a condenser unusually prone to corrosion and it was used by both Honda and Subaru.
Earlier Denso AC installations were life of the car reliable. We've had working AC in Accords that were fifteen years old in the past and had never even had a recharge. The same was true of our now departed '09 Forester, although it did need a can or two of R134a in its later years.
Denso quality may not be what it used to be.

I miss the mpgs on my 2025 Accord Hybrid but it was a total lemon...
A pity.
My 2018 has been dead reliable, except for the two AC repairs it has required, costing me nothing.
In the warmer six months of the year, 50+ MPG tanks are easily attainable, as you already know.

I had a 2013 Accord...reliable but peeling paint and rims within one year.... all my early Acura vehicles were near perfect

We had the last year of the previous generation, a 2012 in Taffeta White.
The paint held up fine, although most of the peel one sees is the clear, not the paint, and the color we had was a single stage paint.

I leased that one but I could see primer later...just a bad paint job...
And noisy as always..
Road noise
