Maxlife is a great choice, and so are all the other full synth Dex/Merc equivalents.

I just wish that someone made a higher/tighter ratio direct replacement rack for our rides.

When you can't get a quicker ratio P/S rack, there is a device called a steering quickener. It has some gears in it that multiply the speed of turning:
