AC Delco vs. Denso OEM.

Today I gave a good look at the AC Delco filter that fits my 1.8l Vibe engine. I've read in a few forums that the AC Delco is just a rebranded Denso 90915-YZZF1 filter. However, the AC filter had "Made in Mexico" stamped on it, which doesn't jive with the "Made in Thailand" stamp on the new F1 Denso filters. Am I wrong about who makes the AC Delco filter?

BTW: I only use the Denso filter because it's $4.00 at the Toyota dealer and my Pontiac shop wants $12 for the AC Delco.

Wait, I may have my own answer...

I was looking at the AC Delco filter at Autozone, so I believe it's probably made by Champion. Maybe the Delco filter sold through GM parts departments are made by Denso and repackaged...
