Recently the ABS light has come on on my 92 325I. I've gone and cleaned the wheel sensors the fronts anyway. The rears just don't want to come out. tips for removal?
Anyway the next step was to get the codes read to pinpoint the problem Here's what came back.
Teyes ABS (MKIV/3)
01 113 Wheel speed, front left, not detected
02 113 Wheel speed, front right, not detected
03 145 Pump not functioning
Now according to the tech he's said it looked like the ABS Relay was toast and would gladly replace it for $95 labor(spit) $35 part and if it didn't work there be no charge for the part.
Well being a tight one for parting with $95 for 3 min. worth of work I declined, ---- I can swap parts with the best of them.
I pulled the relays and check what I could with a MM and they look fine and the solenoid pulls in with voltage across it. Nothing broken or burnt.
Any ideas on what else could be the culprit? I'd like to check the WSS but after checking them out I really wasn't sure on how they disconnected from the harness. Idunno?

Well, it is improbable/impossible to lose both sensors at once. Grab a wiring diagram and find out what common the sensors, and the relay share. You could possibly have a bad ground causing the problem, possibly a common power wire to the same. It is good form to verify all grounds and power supplies to the ABS module/relays/sensors, and then start pinpoint tests, when hit with multiple codes.
