Great pics. This time of year is the best around here, with the kids back in school, the humidity mostly gone, crisp autumn nights, no bugs...

Are those single-shot panoramas or do you stitch them together with software?

Thanks for the kind words.

My coolpix has a panorama mode, so i used that. Then I just stitched the individual images togeather using Arcsoft Panorama maker 3.0 which came on my nikon cd. I was suprised at how well they came out, because I don't like the way nikon has their panorama mode setup, its hard to line everything up properly on the tiny lcd.

I remember sitting up on Cadillac Mt. on evening a few summers ago watching the fog roll in and smother those little islands off of Bar Harbor. What do they call them -- the Porcupines? Something like that. Never saw fog move like that before, like a giant blanket being pulled over the bay.

I like that pic of Jordan Pond in particular.

Taking a fresh breath of air up there would be nice. I miss the East, especially around this time of year.

I remember visiting when my family took a summer trip up through NE, Maine, around the Gaspe (sp?) and then to Quebec.

We spent extra time up there in Maine, and it was really beautiful. Acadia was great back then, and its great to see it is unspoiled still.

Nice pics!
