The Callahan Brakes that I link here is a "real" brand name/Logo owned and trademarked by the PowerStop Brake company. There is no Callahan brake factory. To my knowledge PowerStop simply places a Callahan label on some of their econo line offerings. It's pure marketing tied to the cult movie. A bit humorous I suppose.
Because it is a privately held corporation backed by equity investors, the thread title IS A LIE!!!!!! .... Maybe that's humorous???
