A/C vent cleaner

Hi All,
With warm weather on its way I was curious if anyone on here has used one of those vent cleaner kits that disinfect and supposedly clean out the heater/A/C ducts vents? I've read everything from using a hadheld duster to the kits that supposedly are sprayed into the intake at the bottom of the windshield. My neon doesn't have a cabin filter, but I've read that one could be added. Not sure if this is possible or not. Any suggestions let me know.

Nothing? Nobody has cleaned their automotive air conditioning vents?

I’ve never used a kit but I have used the Lysol spray on a couple different vehicles that developed a musty smell from the vents. Just removed the CAF and sprayed it into the “intake” under the windshield with the fan running. Seemed to work.

I used the 1Z Klima cleaner in the past with good results. You can pick this up locally and will probably do the same job.
