Hey guys my a/c was working fine yesterday in my 2009 toyota matrix s 2.4. I drove to get some food and it was blowing cold air like normal, I returned to my hotel and shut the car off. Upon leaving again nothing was working. The fan wouldn't blow on any setting and the a/c light on the button wouldn't come on. The only button with a working light is the recirculation button. I'm hoping the it's just a fuse or relay but I'm limited on electrical experience and traveling on the road. Any ideas on where to begin? Thanks.

As mentioned above.
There are 2 easy possibilities:
1. Relay in my Sienna it is in the box on the driver side appx behind the battery, there is a relay (may be blue but check the back of the cover).
2. The blower resistor.

The relay controls the electric to the compressor to turn it on.
The blower resistor is to control the speed of the blower by the AC control switch.

If that is not the issue then the for some reason the compressor may have gone bad.
But check the above easy part first.

I took it to toyota a little while ago. They told me it was the fan control switch, the actual dial that you turn to control fan speed. They didn't have one so I'll replace once I get home tomorrow. 100.00 part, I'm gonna try to do it myself. Looks like all I have to do is pop the interior plastic off and replace. I did ask if the tech was for sure that was the problem and was told 100 percent.
