I need "the best" way to sell the super loaded (max, pretty sure) car in the title.
VIN: 4S3BNEN69K3030958 Blue w grey interior
Only 12,000 miles. Garage kept. Non-smoker. Still within the 5/60,000 warranty
Simply perfect.
Cars.com says it's worth $25,150 (+/- $1,325)
KBB says......... $29,404 (+/- $1,180) TRADE IN
KBB says .........$31,435 (+/- 1,310) PRIVATE SALE
Carvana says $24,413

All suggestions welcome

It's worth what someone is willing to give you. Sell it as a private sale yourself. You get paid immediately. A gem like yours will command top price.

Selling with Cavana won't ensure you getting paid. I never liked their concept. Aren't they bankrupt?

Dang I need a car lol. If I had the money I’d take it especially a Subaru. I’d say sell it to a dealership as new as it is. That would probably be the best bet in my opinion.

What does Carmax offer. Also try your local Subaru dealer
A Subaru dealer will give considerably less. They have to make money too on the resale. I been through it already on a low mileage cream puff Legacy. I sold it privately for $4500 more than the Subaru dealer's offer..

carmax says about 27000.. that is pretty good imo. its 4.5 years old and a sedan.
It might be worth 1000$ to sell to a business and not deal with private party tire kickers.

Its not a mpg wonder but the 3.6 in those makes for a nice driving experience.
5/60 is only powertrain so transmission/engine..
stuff like control arm bushings which rot notoriously bad/early on subaru wont be covered.

KBB says......... $29,404 (+/- $1,180) TRADE IN
KBB says .........$31,435 (+/- 1,310) PRIVATE SALE
kbb might say that but their offer was 25668

Dealer has to be able to make money. paying 31k for a sedan --- meh.

If you work hard enough you can probably beat the 27k number..

Carvana isn‘t even offering you “rough” wholesale or trade-in pricing for your car. With their offer to you, they could make money on that car selling it at Adesa for wholesale pricing to dealers, not to mention how much they’d make retailing it.
Dealers need to make money, but Carvana’s offer is way too low. We couldn’t buy that car at auction for that price, not around here anyway.
Good luck! Cheers!🍻

There is no best way.

Problem with a low mileage car is that its sitting around. It could be short tripped excessively or idled forever. With that low mileage, did the vehicle have yearly oil/filter changes? or whatever is required for "time" intervals for the warranty?

You missed out on the peak used car prices. Its only downhill from here on out 😥

Put it on all the common car sale websites with whatever reserve you want. See if there is any demand for it. You get whatever someone is willing to pay for it, or you hold onto it. Demand should still be good.

those numbers are nuts imo.
yes 24k is way to low.. but 32k for xtra clean.
a new 2023 legacy Touring XT is 37-38k

carmax was 27k which is "decent" and easy.
private party I could see 29k after a month or 2 of tire kickers and home invaders.

That being said its worth what someone will pay for it.. and people are nuts so I might be way off base.

I completely agree with you, those numbers are nuts. From what we see at the various auctions that we go to, (Manhiem, Adesa, Z66, etc..) a lot of dealers are paying some of those insane prices, especially for units that are easy to sell/finance. Subaru’s are good sellers and this particular one we’re speaking of is in great shape, per OP’s description, and has very low miles.

We sold one to Carvana, no issues. One to Vroom, not smooth but eventually done. Several to Carmax, the easiest and most convenient if they are price competitive.

New cars seem to be the best buy lately.
