It was the world’s tallest free standing structure for 32 years, until 2007. It’s still taller than anything in the USA.

Thanks! I learn something new every day. Growing up in Illinois, the Sears Tower was basically it for tall structures. Have never been to Toronto, but if I ever go I will not look quite so much of a fool haha.
