I'm looking for recommendations on the OCI for the trans and differential on my Miata. The differential is an LSD, if it matters. I've never had a rear-wheel-drive car until this one (so no diff), and haven't had any sort of MTX car in years. I'm filling the trans with Redline MT-90 (GL4), and filling the diff with Redline 75w-90 GL5 next week. I have no idea what's in either unit now, or how long it's been in there. The car will see around 5-6,000 miles of spirited driving per year in warm weather, with an odd track day mixed in possibly.

I'm running Motorcraft xt-m5-qs in the trans and M1 75w/90 in the diff. I plan to go 100k spirited miles at 22k per year.
I'm 1/4th of the way there.

Did you see the 2016 version revealed tonight??

I'm still undecided on the looks, but I do like the 2200 lb curb weight.

I do my diff fluid every 2 years. Along with coolant, trans fluid, p/s fluid, and a brake flush

30k-50k or 3-5 years whichever comes 1st, depends on weather and driving style. Any more time or distance should get a UOA.

Check/topoff the cold gear oil yearly or every 10k.
