98 Ram 3/4 ton Desiel a/c won't come on?

Everything seems fine but the compressor won't start. It has voltage to the compressor clutch but it won't engage the compressor.

low side 25psi

high side 375psi

Please help.

If you have voltage to the clutch and the clutch doesn't come on, then the clutch is bad, and replacing the clutch is needed.

since it has 12v to the clutch,clutch is bad. very common on those. How are you getting 375 on the high side with no compressor?

That's what I was going to ask.

If those are your pressures then the compressor is working. If the compressor was not working your high and low side pressures would be about the same. Your high side pressure is a little high, I would check to make sure that the condenser fan is working.

You probably need a fan clutch.
