Just purchased a '94 Grand Marquis, story and pics to follow at a later date.
I am uncertain if the plugs have ever been changed, and with all I have heard/read about the 3 piece plug, threads pulling out or ejection, I am electing to pay to have this done. My question is this: Did Ford ever modify the plug design, so going forward I can change them myself without fear of breakage?

My '07 F150 4.6 2V spit a plug randomly one day, so any model year can be affected
Is it still OK?

Denso plugs are trash, 2 sets of IT24s and both were total junk compared to NGKs.
Ford doesn't use Denso plugs on their supercharged builds for a reason.
Yeah, I have seen some nasty Denso TT out of the box last decade - far cry from the excellent OE Nippon Denso Toyota and Hot-U days in the 90's. NGK green stripe USA V power were garbage also.

Just saying - If you have waste spark they tend to run better with twin tips.

Wires? there used to be only one good carbon wire maker - Packard. Must be Secret sauce in the insulator.

These 4.6 engines don't make any power stock. less than 100 hp per bank. Used to call 'em two escorts joined at the hip
