91 acura legend 169k after 2 ARX treatments

Sorry no pics of under the rocker covers.

I bought this car back in Oct with 161k, a one owner car. Previous owner provided me with service records from day one. Oil changes with dyno oil every 3-4k miles.

I did 2 treatments of ARX using advanced auto 5w-30 oil and purolator standard oil filters. Just finished my the final cleaning phase and now have Mobil 1 5w-30 and a baldwin oil filter. Will do OCIs of 7500 miles.

I have been tracking MPG for at least the last 5k miles (23-24MPG), I will report back with future MPG reports.

Car has always ran great since I bought it so no noticable difference in the way it runs so far.

I have a leak possibly from the front of the oil pan or somewhere in that area. I have cleaned that area and will see if any future oil leakage.

Just wondering if you have to take this car to get tested yearly for emissions ??

Does ARX help lower emisissions ?

I took it last year in nov and will do the same again this nov. I will report back then.

By cleaning your engine,you take load off converter. Resulting in lower emissions. Please read Emissions Tests on Auto-Rx

So far MPG is still the same at 23-24. I drive 63 miles 4 days a week, then some on the w/e's. Two tankfuls of gas so far. I have also started using M1 5w-30.

You should be getting higher mileage than that.

How long since a tuneup?

Sorry that I have not replied sooner.

The car is rated 26 on the highway and I don't drive it easy. Usually cruise at 85 or so on the highway.

I'll have to look at the records to see when the plugs/o2 sensors where last changed.

I would replace the precat O2 sensor, they are only rated for 100,000miles.

I have a 94 auto L Legend sedan 200 hp, the EPA rating was city 19 highway 24 and I get 23 at 80 mph with the ac on. I run M1ep 5-30 and after 30k of
M1 use it uses .3 qt in 5k miles. The first 120k
was dino at 4k oci. The oil usage was higher when
I first got the car at 122k *1 qt in 4k miles}.
No sensors have been replaced, and the emissions
look like a new engine. I do run FP in the gas
and that did improve the emissions. I will see
if I can find the tests from when I first got the car. Hope this helps you out.
