Hi,

Well, its time to work on my daily driver car. I have an '85 toyota Corolla that I have always used the "Toyota Factory Red Coolant". My question is do they still sell this fluid (It's been a long time since I have changed it but have they switched the red fluid over to newer technologies or what is the best coolant I can be running in my toyota so I don't mess up any gaskets and still maintain the system. thanks guys, I just keep reading this board and keep finding more work to do on my vehicles. lol

I'm using Peak Global lifetime in all of my vehicles and also others that I take care of.

Sick of this and that color/type of coolant. Picked the one that would work with what I've got (pretty well everything) and going to stick to it.

My Toyota came with the pink, its now yellow!

Does your Corolla have a brass-copper radiator? Some older Japanese vehicles have them. That's a good reason to use the Toyota red coolant.

The DO sell the "Long Life Red" coolant.
It is a long life formulation with phosphate.
They sell it in concentrate form, you add distilled water to it.
Should cost around $20 or so for a gallon of concentrated Red.

They also have "Super Long Life Pink" only available as a pre-mix.
