737-Max 8 vs 737-700 - WOW what a difference!

Flew a 737 Max 8 from Hartford to Orlando and now on a 737-700 flying back and WOW what a difference. The Max 8 is almost whisper quiet and I think I’ll have tinnitus getting off the 700. It’s really amazing the difference.

The Max 8 is a very quiet plane. I enjoyed my experience on one.

We flew a 737-Max from Anchorage to Chicago a couple years ago. That was my first Max ride. What a quiet airplane! So much better than the previous models. The 787 is similarly quiet.

Any Airbus much quieter than a 737Max

I was on a very old American Airlines A319 about 3 years ago with (America West) interior that was quieter than 737Max.

The only airline that offers nonstops between those two cities that operates the Max is Southwest.
We flew a Southwest Max 8 a couple of months before they were grounded and it did seem pretty quiet.
Bear in mind that it was a new aircraft then and the youngest Southwest 737-700 has seen eight years in service.
