5w30 in generac generator?

Only small engine I had burn that ever burned that much oil was my worn out gx390 which I rebuilt.

I bought a Generac 2500 Inverter Generator and the dealer told me to use Straight 30w .

That's one reason that OPE comes with an owner's manual.
