The best 5W-20 in Canada is 0W-20.

Amsoil 0w20 is top Nutch i run it in My Mazda

but i need something for my Mom Rav 4

Canadian Tire USED to stock the Mobil 1 0w20, but I haven't seen it in a while since my dad stocked up.......

is 5w20 fully compatible with 5w20 ... if car maker dosen't say anything about using 0w20 i dunno if its good idea ?

M1 good oil - but i heard most cars seems to burn it dunno why ?
what about Mobil 1 5w20 ?

I've had no consumption issues with M1.

The issue SEEMS to be that some cars will have some consumption when switching brands/grades but that it goes away after a little while.

The same issue has occurred with Amsoil, PP, RP...etc. It's common.

And yes, 0w20 and 5w20 are fully compatible with each other, as are any oil grades.

Think of 0w20 as a 5w20 that doesn't get as thick when it's -30 out

I just saw some great used oil analysis with Mobil 1 0w20 in Mazda 3 !
I wonder if they will be pretty same with 5w20 ? They should ?
I this 5w20 is available in Canadian Tire i will try it with my M3

If it says Supersyn on the label, according to Doug Hillary, that means it's Group IV.

Exxon-Mobil is the world's largest producer and supplier of Group IV base-stocks. For them not to be using them seems pretty ridiculous. Doesn't mean that this is always the case but it would seem odd if it wasn't......
