5W-40 @ Pep Boys - None!

I can't fricking believe it! I went to my local Pep Boys in Clovis to pick up 1 bottle of Valvoline 5W-40 for a special mix I'm planning on doing. Not only was there no Valvoline 5W-40, but no 5W-40 in any brand!

It's a good thing I don't drive a German car I guess.

The 5w40 weight oil is sometimes hard to find. I think AutoZone still has the 5w40 Syntec. If you were closer, I still have some 5w40 Mobil 1 Truck and SUV that I would sell you cheap.

I don't think I've ever seen Valvoline 5W40 at Pepboys, maybe Pennzoil Platinum 5W40? Or VW guys might be nabbing it all before I see it? Mobil 1 5W40 (Turbo Diesel Truck) is finally getting to Autozone and Walmart down here.
Rotella T Synthetic 5w40 works well in BMW's...

Wow, it is hard to believe there was not even Rotella T Syn 5w40 as that can sometimes be in the diesel oil section. Best of luck finding some.

On LI I cannot find 5 40 anywhere. I get it from the dealer if I need it for someone.

My nearest pepboys doesn't stock any 5w40 or 15w40 either. That's why I don't shp there unless they have something on sale that I need.

Where on LI? I've seen it at AutoZone and I believe WalMart.

That is the reason I odnt even bother with pep boys. They used to run the specials on different oils and they never have any 502 00 oil (usually 5w-40) and they cant even order it.

WalMart for Mobil 1 0w-40. Always in stock.

It's usually European Formula.....go to Europe.

Wait...I did see some Mobil 1 0W40 'European Formula' at WallMart ($6.98/qt)yesterday. (Really!)

Valvoline is the only 5w-40 being stocked at the North Hollywood Pep Boys in Los Angeles. They've also got Mobil 1 0w-40. But they obviously aren't stocking Xw-40's deep or cheap. The local AZ has none.

I finally found some. I had to go to NAPA's main distribution center in Fresno.
