5th gen 4Runner transfer case oil.

I used Redline MT-LV 70W/75W GL-4 fluid.
A lot of 4Runner owners on YouTube and the forums recommended it.

I keep the Amsoil MT stuff in stock for Toyota t-cases. @Pablo helped me out and I got the promo (at the time) Amsoil magnetic pickup tool, which adds 5hp to my tool cart. Win-win

Anecdotally, the owner of a '15 Tundra says it does seem to allow for faster 4wd engagement, which is also something reported in Toy forums (although honestly, I don't understand how, exactly).

In this instance I had not previously suggested such to the owner, but AFTER he returned from a Baja trip I mentioned it and he said he had noted faster 4wd engagement on that trip (again, before I put the idea in his head). So, maybe there's something to it.....

It depends what they were running before. If old conventional gear oil it could be balky
