The older I get, less less I care about "cool" and more about function.
I laughed, hard !! Any good humor has more than a grain of truth in it.
Of course, women are quite practical. They intrinsically understand that any man who has enough money to drive a frivolous and stupidly expensive car is easily capable of supporting a family. There really is no surprise in that. Men can complain that it should be love that matters. Men are often not that sharp....
On the other hand, an eligible man driving a Prius simply shows just how frugal he is. That is NOT an attractant. It may make perfect sense to the man, but to the woman, she sees "cheap" and knows he will be cheap with the kids too.
So, yeah, it's funny.

My wife wanted the minivan for herself. She just let me buy another car for fun. Guess Im lucky.

She's like me, in that she also loves and rides our fast bikes, drives our fast cars, enjoys the same hobbies, etc. Thankfully, she doesn't look like me...
