I ran across this stuff at Home Depot- it's supposedly straight gasoline(no ethanol) pre-mixed with 50:1 synthetic 2 cycle oil.

http://www.50fuel.com/ (40fuel is 40:1, otherwise the same)

It's $3.25 a quart here... seems to me that at the very least, it would be useful for people who don't use but about a quart of fuel a year, and/or for running the tools out of gas before storage - no ethanol to dissolve things over the winter.

Anyone know anything else about it?

Hey, people pay $2.50 for a small bottle of water.

Why not take all the "complication" out of mixing the correct ratio of gas mix........I'm sure that's what the company marketing this stuff is saying (there's a sucker born every minute).

Maybe the "no ethanol" part might attract people. I see they offer it in 55 gallons drums also. That would be nice to have sitting around in my garage or barn......kabooooooom!

i checked out http://www.50fuel.com - then i bought some 50 fuel at Home Depot. I was a bit skeptical when i read the info on the website. I can tell you that - like the website says - my blower started right up and idled great - no smoke either. but for me, not having to mess around with a funnel and measuring cup sealed the deal for me. i love it. Another thing: have you seen how expensive these new gas cans are that have vapor recovery ? its a joke ! ... $8 I know this new premixed stuff is probably not the most economical, but for me the convenience is well worth it.
