5-6 gallon wet dry vac

looking to purchace a smaller wet dry vac ,is the masterforce (menards) 5 gal. 5.5 hp any good?? i think iits the same as the Beast made by vac master,,any thoughts on this or other smaller brand of vacs is appreciated

Personally I'd stick with a name brand like Rigid or Shopvac. I have 3 Rigids, one used as a blasting cabinet vac for years, with no issues.

I think the Craftsmen branded shop vac is still made by Rigid. That being the case it appears you can still buy Craftsmen model equivalents at lower prices vs the Rigid equivalents.

Seconding Rigid. I have whatever version they sold 8 years ago and it still work great after lots of neglect and abuse, cigerette dust, nasty fluids, you name it. I finally took out the original filter and it still goes and goes.
