I hope each of you have a great holiday filled with laughter and fun. The members that do not celebrate the 4th I hope you have a special day.

Thank you to the active duty, veterans and retired military for keeping us free.

Helen

Have a Happy and Safe 4th.

Thank you for the post.

Oh, and whenever someone thanks me for my military service, I make a point of telling them that I was really lucky the Navy would have me. Really lucky. I benefited enormously in life from that career and the one that followed. I couldn't be more grateful.

Happy Independent Day everyone.

I am sorry, I must disagree with you on this. I think we are very lucky to have someone like you served our country, in your case you served with Navy, someone else served with Army or Air Force or Marine.

Here's a video of "The Star Spangled Banner" I came across one slow evening while listening to various national anthems. It's heartwarming how the crowd covers for her microphone failure just after 1:28.

Happy 4th of July.

In case anyone missed this.

Generally not a fan of over the top vocal embellishments during the SSB, but if have the chops....

That was horrible. Our National Anthem is not an R&B tune.

My wife sings and cringed at that.

Thank you and your countrymen for the support your country has given to up through the years. We appreciate our neighbor to the north.
