I know many people are using gl-5 in theirs and I would like to do the same but I’ve been obsessed with the idea of gl5 eating up the soft metals.

Braapdaddy Joined Nov 23, 2020 Messages 371 Sep 9, 2022 #4 2019 Tacoma drained the factory 75w out about a week after it was new Lucas 75w90 changed it again at 50k with same was as clean as new and zero metals visual Now at 91k no issues ever freezing cold or blistering hot with a few Colorado off road mountain passes in 4 wheel As for soft metals I do believe there is a internal part or two that are "soft" metal
2019 Tacoma drained the factory 75w out about a week after it was new Lucas 75w90 changed it again at 50k with same was as clean as new and zero metals visual Now at 91k no issues ever freezing cold or blistering hot with a few Colorado off road mountain passes in 4 wheel As for soft metals I do believe there is a internal part or two that are "soft" metal
