40% of sample lost. Still do a UOA?

Well I'm getting ready to send my sample to Blackstone only to find out that the tech didn't tighten the container lid and roughly 40% of the oil has been saturated by the grey cloth that comes with the sample kit. Now I've got just over half a sample. Does anyone know if a used oil analysis can still be done with a smaller than usual sample?

Sample was taken nearly 2 months ago.

Yes, they can, but the supplemental tests might not be possible (TBN, TAN, etc).

Depending upon which service you use, I susect there is still plenty left.

Blackstone needs the vast amount of volume for the FP cup test; all the rest take just mL of fluid.

Thanks for the responses guys. [censored] reported that there was enough of the sample to do a TBN. Will post the UOA in the morning.
