I’ve installed the ATF cooler on my ‘16 Pilot a little less than 3yrs ago, and was planning to swap the external ATF filter as well. Cooler install wasn’t as smooth as I thought it would, filter bracket was pain in the rear to remove so I’ve decided to do it at a later time. 3yrs later, I’m ready to do it again. My question though, is that filter still good to be used? It was kept in the garage cabinets in the original packaging. Thank you

As long as it's not rusty or contaminated with anything, you're good to go.
looks good on the outside. It was kept in the garage (texas hot garage), so obviously not a controlled environment, so I'm wondering how the internals are...if that makes sense

I would use it.
I think it will be fine to use the filter, I see no issue.
