3M Replacement Product

Fellas,
I was a big fan of the old 3M Fill N Glaze. Worked great on clear coat finished for hiding / removing minor swirl marks and spider webbing. I have approx. 8 oz. left before my final supply is gone. The company stopped producing this product several years ago. Is 3M Swirl Mark Remover (for dark colored cars) a good product and does anyone have first hand experience using it? Feedback welcomed.

3M still makes a variety of glazes. Have you tried any others? This stuff might be a good sub:

I used 3M "pink" a long time ago so I understand where you're coming from. But there are still good glazes on the market. If it were me, I'd be using One Grand Omega Glaze instead. That was my favorite glaze before I went polymer. Mothers glazes are good too and can be found at places like Pep Boys. The One Grand stuff you'll have to mail order, I'm sure.

I use the 3M Imperial HANDGLAZE as opposed to MACHINE Glaze for you that don't have a machine or too lazy to whip out the ol' porter cable. I'm a die hard fan of 3M Imperial Handglaze topped off with 3M Paste Wax and sealed all of them with AUTOGLYM Gloss Protector sealant. 3M Professional Products are the best! Check out their website for the variety of products for aftermarket automotive market, beats Mothers,Meguire's,One Grand combined!

I am glad to hear that it works well ( 3M Swirl Mark Remover (for dark colored cars)).

I will be picking some up at the local parts store and applying it by hand (eventually).

I have a little of the "pink" Fill 'n Glaze left. I suppose I will use it up next time I wash / clean, polish and wax my black '06 Mazda 6i Sport.

Sounds silly... but I just loved that stuff.

I used 3M Swirl Mark Remover (for dark colored cars) and it works very well, I used a rotary and topped it off with some Maguires Gold Class.

The surface looked wet when finished
