392 Jeep Wrangler filter alternatives - L6 Hurricane filter?

I just bought a new 2026 392 Jeep Wrangler and changed the oil @ 1000 miles w/PUP 0w40 and a SRT MO-041 filter. However, this filter is too large in diameter (3.75") for the jeep and has been known to have contact with the frame crossmember. The OEM filter is Mopar 4892339BE (2.97 dia x 3.45"tall) or Wix 57060.

I'm trying to find a filter that is smaller in diameter than the SRT MO-041 3.75" but has more filter media than the factory 2.92" dia Mopar 4892339BE with compatible specs for flow, bypass, etc.

I noted that the L6 Hurricane oil filter 68466307AB (Wix 57045) is the same small diameter as the Mopar 4892339BE, but about 1.4" longer.

Are the specs for the L6 Hurricane filter compatible with the 392? Can I use the L6 Hurricane Wix 57045(xp) in place of the 392 jeep wrangler 392 57060 filter?

I'd get a Carquest Premium or Carquest Extended Performance (full synthetic), MicroGard Select, STP XL or STP Max Performance (full synthetic) in the filter model they specify for that engine. Those filters seem to have a lot of media area for their size. If you're doing less than 10K oil changes they are all going to perform well.

84060, 57060, 2222, 10060, 113-A. Get a PGI, Pentius, or Mobil. There’s plenty of filtering media.

The Pentius PLXL10060s are hard to come by atm, but I’ve been satisfied with them on my 6.4. Amazon will have them cheapest by the dozen. The Mobil filters are cheapest at Rural King unless you’re buying an oil/filter deal at one of the parts store chains.
