38-0 Really? Denver destroys?

Also when the 15-0 New England Patriots were going to play the 10-5 NY Giants..

And media idiots were like… Tom Brady, Randy Moss etc etc and NY Giants players maybe shouldn’t play in a “ meaningless game”…

The blanking played…. And both teams played **** hard… Starters stayed in the WHOLE game…

38-35 New England won…

And it was a darn good game… Big Credit to Bill Belichek and Tom Coughlin…

They were going for a perfect record, and then lost to that same Giants team in the Superbowl.

If the Chiefs were 16-0 and not 15-1 the players on the field may have been different.

the best line drive in history by manning, I won 250 bucks on the first game.

The running narrative around the out-of-their-minds Bengals fans here in Cincinnati is that the Chiefs intentionally lost to keep from having the possibility of facing Joe Burrow and the Bengals. If it makes them feel better to say that, ok then. If the Chiefs intentionally lost the game to keep Burrow/Bengals out of the playoffs, it was only as a way to point at Cincinnati and laugh, and not because they were the least bit afraid. Nobody in their right mind was afraid of the Bengals at this point. Denver beat the Chiefs 4th string, the cleaning lady and some of the stadium janitors 38-0 but the Bengals just barely beat Denver two weeks ago. But noooo, half the people in the delusional city I live in think KC did it because they were scared. W.h.a.t.e.v.e.r......

This game meant absolutely nothing to the Chiefs (other than being a socially acceptable way of flipping the bird to the Bengals), they rested the important people for the games that matter and no coaching staff with half a brain would have done anything any different.

AMEN!

Not so fast. The Cowboys have the best owner, GM, and Director of Football Operations in the entire NFL. Just ask him.

And I probably left out another title or two.

God of football. And draft choices. And God of hiring lame coaches who won’t argue with you, because, after all, he’s Jerry “G” Jones!

That is different. Playing an undefeated season or spoiling someone's undefeated season is a big thing. Kansas City had already lost once this year.

No.. it was not different..,

Because…There were morons in the media saying it was a meaningless regular season game at that time though… A good number of them were SAYING that…

That was my point there.

And even if a darn team is 14-1… Like the Chicago Bears were in the 1985 season… The starters played a whole lot of that game against the Detroit Lions.

The MEDIA people were saying it was a meaningless game…

I am not taking about the players or coaches…
I am taking about the media talking heads..

For the New England Patriots who had home field advantage already in the bag..

“ Why risk getting certain players hurt ?? “ etc etc etc…

That’s what a number of rhe MEDIA people were all carrying on about at the time that happened.
