Neighbour Dave was getting rid of this machine at his yard sale. He said "Make me an unrealistic insulting offer - I want it gone".

With embarrassment, I said "$20?" which is all I had on me

Dave said, "Sold!"

It works well.

I'll be parking it for winter soon. Add fuel stabilizer, or run it dry?

Run it dry and drain it, unless you know for sure neighbor Dave was using E0.

+1 to running it dry. In my experience no matter what fuel stabilizer you use, it only improves the shelf life of fuel by MAYBE two weeks.

In our northern climate AND if it is stored in unheated area, I have had excellent success with Marine Stabil in the full fuel tank for over winter.

Thanks, all! I think I'll do belt and suspenders - add a stabilizer, then run it dry.

First project - Last October I dug a trench for wiring for the new shed I was planning. I stupidly didn't place the excavated material (topsoil and clay on a tarp. We had an early snow, and most of the dirt got mushed down into frozen lumps on either side of the trench. I dug up and replaced a fair bit with a shovel and rake, but it was a lot of work.

So, first thing was to till up the remaining high spots, and rake the loose material into the low spots, mostly over the trench. Quick and effective.

I had that exact same tiller, down to the matching stickers.
I now have a newer model of it, except the one I have now has Craftsman stickers affixed instead.
I've found that it doesn't really matter, although I tend to try to run it dry (even though I use E0.)

That's an awesome score! I keep forgetting to get that tiller attachment for my cheapo 4 stroke power head. Would be great between rows. I use my Husky tiller for everything at the moment.

I've had very good luck with just a full tank of treated fuel for the off seasons. Do this for my string trimmers, saw, tiller and sleds.
