I have noticed that the 303 Aerospace Protectant I use on my interior surfaces leaves a lingering B.O. smell for a few days after I apply it. Does anyone else who uses this product experience the same thing?

Not here. Maybe this is proof I'm burned out...

I noticed that too. I use some other vinyl protectants (Armor-All water based) that also have this odor. I think even Meguiar's Natural Look has a slight BO smell.

Probably some common chemical that would otherwise be muted out by a stronger artificial scent.

From what I recall, you can actually cut 303 with water, so you might dilute it down for interior to make it smell less and to only add protection without the slickness.

303 doesn't smell good but can't say I've ever thought of B.O. when applying it. Maybe working at a hospital has gotten me too sensitized to sh***y smells...

303 does not have a pleasant smell like many protectants but it is not objectional to me.

The real question is how are you applying it? I use to use a foam applicator and wipe away with a MF towel.

A way I found out that my detailer uses is applying it with a terry cloth towel. One to spread and one to wipe away.

BTW the smell is actually great. I find products like M40 by Meguiars or your over the counter products to be unpleasant :)
