30 weight oil talk.

As long as he's not seeing any colder than 40 degrees Fahrenheit or so, the SAE30 should work good, at least; according to the majority of the "SAE30" bottles of oil I've read.....my Aries actually has "SAE30" listed as one of the "allowed" oil specs....if the ambient temperature is greater than 40 degrees F.....and many/most of the oil manufacturers seem to think the same. In the heat (spring, summer, etc....) feel free to go with the SAE30, but I wouldn't personally, in the dead of winter......even our 20 degrees Fahrenheit cold spiked we get here on the east coast on occasion
