2AZ-FE sludge maker?

Is the 2azfe in my Scion tC a sludge maker like my mom's 5s-fe?

The 2.2 liter was.This is a 2.4 liter engine.

Do you suspect it of making SLUDGE. I too have that engine and am watching it closely.

Yes the 2AZ-FE runs hotter than the 5S-FE and IMO is more susceptible to sludging. Keep your dino oil changes to 3000miles and you will be okay. Regularly check and maintain your PCV valve for proper operation. Common problems with the 2AZ-FE include oil leak at valve cover spark plug gaskets and serpentine belt tensioner rattle.

Thanks Ken4.Its Ironic I just put in a new PCV Valve in the Camry added 3oz of ARX after syphoning out a sample.I also put some belt dressing on the belts. Its as if I read your message ahead of time Weird.
