If/when it appears, I'll consider blending it with 10w30

Also, why? Every single UOA of HPL has shown it’s done the job required of it admirably; why would you not just run the oil grade selected as intended? There’s nothing wrong with the 10w30 that would be “improved” by mixing in some of the 5w40. You’ll still have a 10w rated oil. The No VII Euro 5w30 I used actually thickened into the 40 grade viscosity range; so again, why bother mixing? You’ve bought a great oil, let it do its thing.
