2025 Nissan Leaf S for $22500

I'd want to know what the real range of these EV's are. Especially driving at night, heat and headlights on, and a/c and headlights on.
Leaf is bad on highway range, you can cut epa in half for bad winter conditions.

Add in the battery Loose’s capacity in Leafs faster than normal…

The Leaf has the worst battery life of all EVs. It would probably do alright for 10 years though.
I’m driving a 2011 Leaf with 68% state of health and a range of approx 56 miles. Works great for us and we’ve had no issues. Reduced range over winter and over time will be fine.
Not good for lots of people but….this is totally fine for lots too. Cheap car to buy and operate - I believe we’ll save a minimum of $7200CAD in gas over 2 years.

150 miles range (rounded for easy math) minus 1/3 capacity for staying in 10%-80% limits is 100 miles range. Minus 1/3 capacity for hot/cold/heater/a/c is 67 miles range. I average 9-10 miles per day. My long drive would be into town to daughter's house, 6x miles round trip. Oh no! So I'd just charge to 100% the night before and be set, no problem. Or I'd head there with 80% charge if it was a surprise unplanned visit and on arrival plug my portable cord into her garage and add a bit until leaving for home. Either way I believe with the major cushions I'd be good for more than a decade with one. But at only ~300 mi. monthly the savings aren't enough to warrant switching over. At $19,959 plus TTL it is a tempting car though.
