2025 Mobil 1 Rebate

The Mobil 1 rebate ended at the end of August.
The pictured rebate is for Delvac, a different product and a different offer.
For years, Walmart wasn't even mentioned in the offer details, never mind as a approved retailer for Mobil 1 rebates, yet it was readily accepted as such.
I would hesitate to draw any conclusions on what the bozos running the programs list or do not list as an eligible retailer, other than those that they specifically exclude. And doubt that they limit the offer to specific stores.
Walmart has ~5000 retail outlets in the U.S. Even if they were to limit the offer to specific stores (and why would they do that?), and made a genuine effort to list only those that are eligible, it would probably be a more involved task and encompass more than the stores that are specifically displayed on a static web page. Not any sort of a searchable database.
"Walmart" alone, presumable as a full retailer, is the very first in that part of the list, and they should have left it at that, instead of sowing potential confusion.
Like I said, the people that are hired to run these programs are bozos, lack attention to detail, and have issues fulfilling the terms of the promotions that they do actually state.
no email confirmation from Mobil (Arrowhead Promotions) and when checked online it shows no submission can be found...a phone call shows they have it and it is still under review 5 and a half weeks after submission...
we'll see if I get this rebate...but after doing the rebate thing with Mobil for many years, it has gotten more and more difficult to submit, accept and get one of their rebates...

Mine also can’t be found online. This isn’t encouraging.
try calling them as they find it when calling but online mine still shows that they can't find any submission for me...Tuesday will be 6 weeks since I submitted this...twice according to the people on the phone

I received an email response that the customer service agent reentered a claim for the additional $5 and if it is accepted, I will see it in 6 weeks....of course if rejected, no way to resubmit a claim as the offer ends this weekend.
Six weeks later, I received an email from Mobil 1 for my addition $5 rebate I am owed. I put it in my Amazon account to spend in the future. I think I am close to done with these various rebates...about 1/3 of the time I either get no rebate, or a partial rebate and then waste time trying to get it resolved. I think Amazon sales and eBay deals are a better and easier use of my time.
just under 7 weeks from submission I received my two $5 rebates (separate email) and turned them into Amazon Gift Cards...
I am also getting a bit tired of these rebates (especially the latest from Mobil) but I do like Mobil 1 oil so I will have to play to pay ; )

I finally got mine that I submitted a few days before the deadline. $15! I paid less that 28 bucks at walmart after tax, that's 5 qt for $12.53. I need to change my oil more often

Got the two I submitted for my Mom on the last day of the promotion. My electric utility takes one time card payments on their website, so I always use these to pay down my power bill.
I'm guessing Mobil is back to their tactics to try and make it difficult as possible. I bought two and this round of rebates in the summer, I felt the website was off because usually I'm able to specify one or 2 rebates. I took screenshots of my submissions. I even submitted a third time and got an error. When they finally processed the rebate, it was only for one. I emailed them back on the screenshots and they tried to play dumb by saying I didn't submit twice. When I pointed out the screenshot saying I already submitted for the offer, they just flatly went to a cop-out excuse that the offer is over and there was nothing they could do.
These are usually 3rd party vendors who administer the rebate program. Minimal incentive to go above and beyond and paid to act stupid. It's also likely that once program ends, it is out of their hands to make any adjustments.
Makes me more and more likely to stop participating. Had a similar issues with SOPUS a few years ago, with the Tractor Supply Pennzoil clearance. Submitted one successfully under my address, but just couldn't submit another one for my daughter under a different address. Finally gave up - it was a good deal ($6.99 for 5 qt) so kept the jugs.
If using rebate submission, submit EARLY, so that any appeals is done in a timeframe while the rebate is still active. Once past the end date, you will be out of luck, justified or not.
Yes I had similar trouble on getting both of my rebates. They ended up shorting me the second $5 I should have gotten for playing the game at the end, but at least I got $5 back, so I'm happy.
This is key. I didn't get my second rebate the first time I submitted. I emailed them and called. They "looked into it." Never heard back. So I didn't even bother calling them again. Just re-submitted it and got the second rebate.
In the future, for Mobil 1, I will always just put each jug on a different receipt. Just go through self check out and do it myself. Now I know.

I had the same issue with 2 jugs on one receipt and only received 1, rebate. I did call the number and the representative processed a second one immediately. Maybe I just got the right person?
Yeah you got lucky. They ghosted me when I told them they missed a jug. Fortunately had enough time to correct it.
I got both of my rebates sent near the end of the promotion and I also did not get the extra $5 from playing that stupid roulette game after...

Tried TWICE now to get a rebate .. both not approved... I called about what was going on.. Was told they could not see the address my screen shot of the Walmart online thing i got .. SO i did a screen shot of the whole fricken thing are redid like I was told to do.. again not approved... I am done with them ..its a SCAM... #mobilerebate
