Anyone have one of these? AWD would be a must so you get the 8-speed as the FWD version has a CVT. I know they're fairly new but I'm curious if they're at least reasonably reliable. And if you got one, what sort of discount did you get? Thanks.

IIRC, from a mechanical perspective, they are pretty much the same as the earlier models (small, turbo 4).
My younger brother has one and seems indifferent towards it.

I'm pretty sure GM still uses a part-time AWD system. It's been around for a while and it is good IMO. I have a '23 Cadillac XT4 with AWD and no issues at all. I changed the PTU fluid and the rear differential fluid and it looked good at 25,000 miles with no wear material that I could tell and no discoloration. The transmission, on the other hand, needs maintenance. I have the 9 speed version and the fluid was dirty at 20,000 miles when I first changed it to get the break-in material out. They're a decent transmission, though, but like any other multi-speed they have to be serviced more frequently.

That's because it's a "transportation appliance". It's plain and moves you around with some utility.. What is there to get excited about? The Chevrolet version sold almost 300,000 units in 2025.

Well, we could look at his brother being “indifferent” to it as a positive.
At least it hasn’t caused any problems that has him stating that it “sucks!” 🤔

There’s always a silver lining,….if you avoid the gray stuff in the middle. 😉
