2025 BLACK FRIDAY OIL THREAD

I just made the rounds. Other than Walmart, we only have the usual auto parts stores, TSC, and Rural King. I’m not sure what Walmart and Amazon have in the works, but Rural King is definitely looking to move some merchandise. Their prices were better than TSC, and they had much more stock.

—Providence oil will be at the regular sale prices again. Conventional, blend, and full synthetic. $12.99, $13.99, and $14.99 per jug.
—MaxLife multi-vehicle ATF is $18.99/gal.
—Several Mobil 1 variations are $24.99. I think this includes all grades of Mobil 1 Truck and SUV, but I didn’t get a photo. Not sure.
—All Mystik greases are 25% off. Other greases on sale as well.
—Valvoline full synthetic Advanced Gear Oil in 75W-90 and 140 is $12.99 in the squeeze bags. This is probably the best deal I saw.
—Lucas synthetic 75W-90 and 140 gear oil is $9.99 per qt. bottle.
—The 50’ rack of diesel formulations had what appeared to be regular sale prices, especially on the Providence.
—Windshield washer fluid was cheaper than anywhere else. They carry Champion in various formulations.

Mobil Delvac 1300 Super 15w-40 $2.59 a quart

Sams Club ends 12/1 4 gallon boxes limit 4 boxes, free shipping for Plus members over $50. I use this oil in 16 out of the 17 motorcycles in my garage, the "NEW one 2013" specs a 10w-60 and yes I know it isnt JASO rated but neither was T4 until it was, and in over a decade neither I nor a whole bunch of other people have ever had a clutch slipping problem with it and I am pretty sure this doesn't have friction modifiers in it.

Ive heard tell some people even run this stuff in diesel motors....hahahhaha
