Thanks for sharing a UOA from such a cool car and engine! Based on the UOA, looks like the engine has worn in nicely. The oil has plenty of life left, so looks like you can extend the OCI; the other option is to run the car harder and keep the OCI short. ;)

Wow two posts in 19 years, nice. I love the z06 c8, post a pic of the beauty.

If you didn't say it was a 50 grade I wouldn't have been able to tell. Don't see the premium for m1 5w-50 to be worth it. But I do with amsoil signature 5w-50 or redline 10w-50.

My opinion is the vehicle has been over-serviced after the first three wear-in OC. Dry sump two gallon capacity? That is an easy 3.5 - 4K miles OCI. What does Chevy state in the OM? Must be an interesting read. You have the wear trend and it is good.

I am WOT onramp 6500 rpm shifts to 85-90 mph on local interstates and highways with my common, dull commuter box. Easy peasy.

Must be a frustrating drive with all that performance.

I am sure you will continue doing what you feel the need to do.

Enjoy that special machine!

looks good. Love these new body styles. I always had a soft spot for the 80's and late 90's vette's but this new one is sharp.
