2021 Audi SQ5 Sportback, 3.0 TFSI, Ravenol 0W30 (VW504) w/OEM Oil Filter, 4,828 OCI, and 22,677 total miles. The downward trend in Fe continues from the last UOA. FWIW - going from Ravenol 0W20 to 0W30, aside from the viscosity change, it looks like the 0W30 formulation contains more Boron andand Moly, but less Magnesium.
Replaced with VRP 0W20 and OEM Oil Filter. This OCI will be include the winter season, so I opted for 0W20 vs 5W30 (VRP not offered in 0W30). I wanted to run some VRP through the engine to mitigate any ring deposits after 4 years of ownership.
Will continue to maintain 5k mile OCIs.
Blackstone Comments: This is the nicest we've seen your Audi look since we started testing its oil. Wear trends are looking great, suggesting none of the internal parts are developing any problems. The small amount of fuel we detected last time failed to return, based on the high flashpoint, so it was likely just situational in nature. No other significant contaminants were present in this oil, and insolubles were nice and low, so the oil didn't break down significantly. The in-spec viscosity rounds out another nice report for your SQ5. All seems well from here at 22,677 miles.
