I think Bridgestone already has a stake in them.

The surprise to me is seeing the Michelin X-Ice Xi3 make the list. I don't like them at all, and find they have poor ice traction.

Is your ice warm or cold? ;-)

Warm 32F/0C
Cold 0F/-16C or so.

It's most likely warm ice as it is more slippery. Ice itself isn't slippery. It's the thin layer of water on top that makes it slippery.

If it's cold enough that the friction from tires don't form the layer of water, then the ice isn't that slippery
