Or at least I think they are.

Kiddo has had this car since around 50k, and while I've done some of the work, I'm not the one responsible for choosing when that work is done (IE it is her responsibility to tell/ask me).

Either way, car has 108k on it now and these, for all the world, look like they are original. (Or maybe not, I'm not up on what Jeep put in these things from the factory.)

That being said, they actually look decent for that mileage, considering people on the net say that the 2.4 'MultiAir' likes ~60k plug replacements. We did go back with single Iridium NGK's, can't bring myself to use Champion, even though Stellantis thinks that's ok. (NGK 4469)

They are sitting on top of a Mopar air filter, which also hasn't been replaced during her ownership, so at least 60,000 miles on that as well.

Not too bad looking from a combustion efficiency visual (nice light tan color), but it appears there is some erosion that widened the gap some. Did you happen to measure it? Anyway, they did look like good candidates for replacement as well as that air filter.

Good luck trying to get your daughter to remind YOU about maintenance, especially if she didn't pay for the car. My son does the same thing, but didn't really start taking an interest in it's overall mechanical fitness until he bought the car from us. With his own money 😁. Oh well, Pop's Garage is always open and free of charge (he pays for parts and oil, filters etc.). I DO get a nice bottle of bourbon on my birthday/father's day though.
