Having an issue with a no start and then these three warning lights coming on the dash
Truck will not go in gear for several seconds and only after the warning lights go away
Any ideas ?

I'd verify the state of the battery/charging system first thing. New Fords are overly sensitive to things like that.

And to be clear. You can have a battery that absolutely starts the vehicle just fine....

And still be bad.

It's not the trans. It's telling you the sensors aren't working. Low voltage/bad battery or one of your proximity sensors is faulty/bad connection.

A Ford tech that’s a friend of mine
Is saying possible
Neutral safety switch issue

Something electrical likely within in the rear wiring branch. Bad ground or a failed switch or junction box can cause this.

2018
An yes it’s been serviced every 35-40K miles
Has the pan been off and magnets cleaned? I know after 2014 or 2015 they added at least one extra magnet to improve filtration. They often get neglected and are critical to function and durability of the transmission.

Twice in 144K miles

This may not mean anything, but I had a 2004 f150 that showed a wrench, and it was for a bad throttle position sensor. The other 2 are rear collision detection sensor faults.

From what I’ve seen, the 6R100 transmission is pretty much bulletproof. You sound like you took care of it, so I doubt you have a major problem.

Something doesn’t add up to me. Thats a larger digital display, which would be in the higher trims, but the 6 speed that year was only in the 3.6 NA, was it not?

Either way, this doesn’t look like a transmission issue at all. I’ll bet theres one parking sensor thats out of sorts, and those errors are cascading.

Yes, ford has a left and right bus. The high-end brake lights are CAN-connected. Mess up the right-side CAN and the vehicle won’t turn over. Fill a brake light with water and that side’s CAN can go down.
