Relative got a 2015 Ford Fusion

Anyone here have one or know of major problems with them. Yeah the 1.5 Ecoboost head gasket for one.
Would like to know how well it worked for you.

Have a 2017 Ford Fusion Energi (Plug in Hybrid) we picked up as the second owner.

Does everything we bought it for - makes a great errand runner for us around town. Its gotten two kids to their drrivers licenses and I don't have any hesitation handing them the keys,

For us, its been reliable short of a module that needed replacing this winter - that was covered under the Hybrid powertrain warranty,
Previous employer had a fleet of them with the 2.5. They did their job with very little non-routine maintenance.

Had a ‘17 with the 2.5 NA and ‘20 with the 1.5T both never had any issues. Just oil changes, tires, filters, and brakes. Had both until about 120K miles. The 1.5 turbo had more pep but the 2.5 got better MPG.

I know with the 2.5 they are supposed to be some excellent vehicles reliability wise. I assume the hybrid version was good as well. If it has been well taken care of it should be a good a to b type car.

We had several in the family, a couple 1.6's I think and a 2.5 we still have. No real issues with any of them although if I were to pick, I'd go 2.5.

The emission sticker says 1.5 wish it was the 2.5.

I've seen all the videos about the possible transmission problems. And have known about the gasket deal for years.
It has fairly low miles I think 75K or so. Recommended 10 year or 125K timing belt, how many have done that or gone more? Yeah a gamble. I have not seen it yet. They should have had me check it out. Oh well. I'd likely be the unlucky one to have to fix it. Hope it goes good for em and lasts.
